Of Lonely Walks

How exquisite must it be
You and I
Silent, on a quest
Abstract spaces
Alone, but not lonely
Lonely, but not alone.

Leaves were dead
Once upon a time
Now they rise
Scatter
Across the sunlit sky.

Love, unconquered
Transforms
Beasts of misfortune
Into fine beings
Of Good Taste
And poetic loneliness.

Walk upon that tender path
Where leaves are blue
And flowers, they sing
Of Death, brothers
Fading with the night.
